NI-VISA is an API that provides a programming interface to control Ethernet/LXI, GPIB, serial, USB, PXI, and VXI instruments in National Instruments application development environments like LabVIEW, LabVIEW NXG, LabWindows/CVI, and Measurement Studio. The API is installed through the NI-VISA driver.

The JKI VI Package Manager is a software add-on that helps you find and install LabVIEW add-ons from the NI Tools Network. You can use the JKI VI Package Manager to build reusable code libraries and tools for your developers and customers and to organize and maintain packages within LabVIEW.
