We are looking for Certified EMT's And Advanced EMT's

The Emergency Medical Technician (EMT)

provides basic life support (BLS) and emergency

medical care to patients in prehospital settings under the supervision of the Columbus County

Medical Director and in accordance with North Carolina OEMS guidelines. EMTs are

responsible for ensuring safe transport, maintaining equipment, and upholding ADR’s standards

of professionalism, safety, and community service.

The Advanced Emergency Medical Technician (AEMT) 

provides both basic life support (BLS)

and advanced life support (ALS) care in the prehospital setting. AEMTs operate under the

supervision of the Columbus County Medical Director and in accordance with North Carolina

OEMS guidelines and county protocols. In addition to all EMT responsibilities, AEMTs perform

advanced procedures and administer medications as allowed by scope of practice. This position

requires a high level of clinical skill, judgment, and professionalism.
