Matt has been playing guitar and bass for over 20 years. He has studied classical, rock, jazz, and avant-garde under leading teachers. In addition to writing and recording his own compositions he teaches guitar and bass (virtually or in-person) with an emphasis on music theory and composition. Meeting the student where they are in terms of skill, knowledge and goals is important as everyone is unique and learns differently.
