TERMS AND CONDITIONS — ACHARYA APP

PLEASE READ THESE TERMS AND CONDITIONS CAREFULLY BEFORE USING THE ACHARYA APPLICATION.
By downloading, installing, or using the Acharya App, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the App.

1. ACCEPTANCE OF TERMS
By accessing or using the Acharya App ("App") developed by Axovira Technologies ("Company", "we", "us", or "our"), you confirm that:
- You are at least 18 years of age
- You are a qualified or practicing teacher or tutor
- You have read, understood, and agree to these Terms
- You have the legal authority to enter into this agreement

2. DESCRIPTION OF SERVICE
Acharya is a teacher management application that provides:
- Batch and student management
- Attendance tracking
- Fee collection and management
- Report generation
- Premium features via subscription (Acharya Pro)
The App is intended solely for educational management purposes by teachers and tutors.

3. USER ACCOUNT AND REGISTRATION
3.1 You must create an account using Google Sign-In or Phone OTP verification.
3.2 You are responsible for:
- Maintaining the confidentiality of your account
- All activities that occur under your account
- Providing accurate and truthful information
3.3 We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that:
- Violate these Terms
- Provide false information
- Engage in fraudulent activities
- Abuse the platform or other users

4. SUBSCRIPTION AND PAYMENT — ACHARYA PRO
4.1 Free Plan
The free plan includes limited features:
- Maximum 1 batch
- Maximum 15 students
- Basic attendance and fee tracking
4.2 Pro Plans
Acharya Pro subscription unlocks unlimited features:
- Pro Monthly: ₹349/month
- Pro Yearly: ₹2,999/year (save 28%)
4.3 Payment Process
- Payments are made via UPI transfer to our official UPI ID
- After payment, you must submit your Transaction ID within the app
- Our team manually verifies payments within 24-48 hours
- Pro access is activated only after successful verification
4.4 Subscription Renewal
- Subscriptions do NOT auto-renew
- You must manually renew before expiry to continue Pro access
- We may send reminder notifications before expiry
4.5 Price Changes
- We reserve the right to change subscription prices
- Existing subscribers will be notified 30 days before any price change
- Price changes will not affect your current subscription period

5. USER DATA AND CONTENT
5.1 Your Data
- You own all data you enter into the App (student names, fees, attendance, etc.)
- We do not claim ownership of your data
- You are responsible for the accuracy of data you enter
5.2 Student Data Responsibility
- You are solely responsible for obtaining consent from students/parents before entering their data
- You must comply with applicable data protection laws in your jurisdiction
- We are not liable for any misuse of student data by users
5.3 Data Backup
- While we use Firebase for reliable data storage, we strongly recommend keeping independent backups
- We are not liable for any data loss due to technical issues beyond our control

6. PROHIBITED ACTIVITIES
You agree NOT to:
- Use the App for any illegal purpose
- Enter false or misleading student/payment information
- Attempt to hack, reverse-engineer, or disrupt the App
- Share your account credentials with others
- Use the App to spam or harass any person
- Submit fraudulent payment claims
- Create multiple accounts to abuse the free plan
Violation of these terms may result in immediate account termination without refund.

7. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
7.1 All content, design, code, logos, and features of the Acharya App are the exclusive property of Axovira Technologies.
7.2 You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the App for its intended purpose.
7.3 You may NOT:
- Copy, modify, or distribute any part of the App
- Use our branding or logos without written permission
- Create derivative works based on the App

8. DISCLAIMER OF WARRANTIES
THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT ANY WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND.
WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT:
- The App will be uninterrupted or error-free
- All features will be available at all times
- Data will never be lost (though we take all precautions)
USE OF THE APP IS AT YOUR OWN RISK.

9. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW:
- Axovira Technologies shall NOT be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages
- Our total liability to you shall not exceed the amount you paid for the App in the last 3 months
- We are not liable for any loss of data, revenue, or business opportunities

10. TERMINATION
10.1 We reserve the right to terminate or suspend your account at any time for:
- Violation of these Terms
- Fraudulent activity
- Abuse of the platform
10.2 Upon termination:
- Your access to Pro features will end immediately
- Your data may be deleted after 30 days
- No refund will be issued for remaining subscription period if termination is due to Terms violation
10.3 You may delete your account at any time from the App settings.

11. CHANGES TO TERMS
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be notified through:
- In-app notification
- Email (if provided)
- Updated "Last updated" date
Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

12. GOVERNING LAW
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of courts in Moradabad, Uttar Pradesh, India.
