Education Rounds: Occurs Tuesday mornings from 8-9am. Each Pediatric Nephrology Resident is required to present at Education Rounds 2-3 times per academic year on a topic of their choice.
Journal Clubs: Occurs Tuesday mornings from 8-9am. Each Pediatric Nephrology Resident is required to present at Journal Club 2-3 times per academic year on an article of their choice. Typically there are 2-3 evening journal clubs throughout the year held at a restaurant.
QI Rounds: Each Pediatric Nephrology Resident is required to present a case for QI Rounds once per academic year
City Wide Rounds Presentation: Each Pediatric Nephrology Resident is required to present once in the second year of residency.
Research Report: Each Pediatric Nephrology Resident is required to present once in Block 12 or 13 in the second year of residency.
HD Rounds: For each CKD Service rotation, the monthly rounds worksheet should be completed. HD Rounds is held on the second Wednesday of the month from 12-1pm.
Conferences: Each Pediatric Nephrology Resident is required to submit at least one abstract or poster to a local, national (preference), or international conference. If the abstract/poster is accepted, attendance to the conference will be supported. Printing fees for posters are reimbursable.
