Meet Sheryl Goutell (Ms. G.)

I am proud to say that I am a Colorado native. I was born and raised in Littleton, Co. where I attended Mark Twain Elementary School, Euclid Junior High School, and Arapahoe High School. After graduating from Arapahoe, I attended Arizona State University and then Texas Christian University where I earned my Bachelor's Degree. I worked for a few years in retail, but decided that wasn't my calling. I went back to school to get my teaching certificate and finished that program at Franklin Elementary doing my student teaching in a third grade classroom. In about my tenth year of teaching, I went back to school again to earn my Master's Degree in Technology in Education. Thus began my love for anything technology related.

I have one son, Mac, who is a software developer/data engineer. In my free time, I love to read, attend as many yoga classes as I can, enjoy all that our amazing state has to offer, and spend time with my friends and family. I feel so blessed to have a job that I love, working with talented students, teachers, and parents. They inspire me every day to learn more and continue to grow as a teacher and a person.
