About the Course

GEP 9B at ACE is a 45 hours course that covers Units 5 - 7 in the English File Upper-Intermediate (3rd edition) textbook.

Students in this course should be at the B2 level of the CEFR scale of language proficiency, which is equal to about 5.5 to 6.5 in the IELTS scale.

Pre-Course Requirements

In the class we will try to use as few boring words about grammar and the English language as possible, so that you can learn English by actually using the language.

However, there are words that I require all my students to understand. They are the parts of speech, subject-verb-object, and some other vocabulary about English.

Note: There is no speaking exam. The score will be given based upon class attendance, participation, and performance.
