The Senate Council is the upper chamber of the bicameral Acadian Parliament. It is a hybrid house in charge of both legislation and executive action. It is composed of the Prime Minister and all ministries created by the National Assembly, along with the Minister of Defense (which has a status as a special Ministry). The Senate Council is in charge of day-to-day governance and may from time to time pass legislation.
