About

Academia Tutoring & Home Education is operated by Jessica Adams, a Florida certified educator with more than 20 years experience in teaching. Jessica has worked with students of all ages in a wide variety of educational realms. Her résumé includes courses across a broad range of subjects at public and private schools, as well as community education classes at Santa Fe College and in homeschool cooperatives.

Her work primarily focuses on teens and young adults with ADHD, ASD (autism), and  Gifted exceptionalities. She has experience working with students in IB (International Baccalaureate), AICE (Cambridge), HSDE (high school dual enrollment), and many/most undergraduate courses. She tutors in all traditional subject matter (English, Math, Social Studies, & Science) as well as many electives (including Spanish). Additionally, she teaches study skills, test preparation, and essay writing. Jessica also offers some teen students home education.

Jessica is a state certified teacher in both Math Grades 6-12 and ESE and accepts many Florida state K12 scholarships.
