We are two brothers who grew up in the 1980s in our beautiful country Uruguay, surrounded by rubber keyboards, cassette tapes, and the unmistakable magic of the ZX Spectrum. Like many from that era, we started by copying BASIC listings from magazines, marveling every time a RUN command actually worked, and spending countless hours playing the classics that defined a generation.
Over time, we began creating our own experiments in BASIC, dreaming that one day we might develop a “real” game for the 8‑bit machine that introduced us to computing and creativity.
Today, more than 35 years later, we return to that childhood dream—this time not as spectators, but as developers. We are building a game entirely from scratch, written in Z80 assembler, optimized to run on an actual ZX Spectrum.
Our goal is simple yet deeply personal: to publish our first original game for the platform that shaped us. A tribute to the golden age of microcomputers, to boundless imagination, and to everyone who ever waited patiently for a tape to finish loading.
If you love retro games, the DIY spirit, and the timeless charm of the Spectrum, you’re in the right place. Welcome.
