A graduate of Western Kentucky University, Carter earned a degree focusing on the intersection of Social Psychology and Macro-Economics, complemented by a minor in film production.

This interdisciplinary foundation has allowed Carter to cultivate a unique professional trajectory that bridges the gap between high-level conceptual strategy and hands-on technical execution.

Interim News Producer for WNKY News 40: in under 90 days, helped rebrand and relaunch the station's entire morning show, pairing on-air talent who had never worked together into a functioning team.
Booking Specialist: managed client relations, scheduling, and property operations for a $10M+ multi-use commercial asset, ensuring optimal facility utilization and seamless vendor coordination.

Project Manager Bright Event Production: created functional lighting designs for clients and helped execute with multiple teams daily.

Executive background in the arts is extensive. Overseen Technical Direction, and production of numerous stage shows, including Beetlejuice Jr., Dracula, and Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer Jr (to name a few).

As a Producer and Director of Stage and Film, Carter has overseen and learned nearly every role across dozens of creative projects, mentoring students from extracurricular through collegiate and pre-professional levels. Over time, that work has grown into specialization in design, management, digital-tool integration for production operations, and executive leadership.

Carter's professional experience is further bolstered by participation in the Disney College Program (DCP), an experience designed to deepen understanding of large-scale organizational leadership.

Currently based in Houston, Texas, Carter works as a server at Federal American Grill. Interacting with patrons nearly every day has been a joy and an inspiration!
