Prior to formal schooling

ABLES has a special interest in preparing young children for their formal schooling years. As a trained, (MultiLit) PreLit instructor, ABLES uses fun and engaging activities that help children develop phonological awareness and oral language through carefully planned, storybook readings and evidence-based teaching of emergent literacy skills and concepts. These proactive, early literacy (and numeracy) intervention sessions, incorporating hands on numeracy and fine motor development, will help to provide the best start to your child’s formal schooling years.
