MIT 2.671 - Measurement & Instrumentation
2.671 is an independent research-focused, communication-intensive course designed to teach mechanical engineering students about identifying research objectives, collecting data using a variety of sensors, processing data and determining statistical significance of results, and interpreting outcomes in the broader context.
For my independent research project, I chose to examine the relationship between different wavelengths of Near-Infrared Radiation used for NIR Therapy and their attenuation through an agar-based tissue phantom medium intended to replicate human tissues.Â
