I recently took pottery classes and found joy in learning how to handbuild, coil construct, wheel throw & glaze. I think it's fun to try new crafts and tap into my creative side.
I took three years of Spanish in High School culminating in a trip to Barcelona, Spain. Now, I'm part of a Spanish Meet Up group. Total immersion is the best way to practice a new language. While I am generally good at listening, comprehending, and reading Spanish, I'm working on speaking and writing.
I enjoy cooking. Being a native Texan, my specialties include enchiladas and Tex-Mex breakfast bowls. My family enjoys tamales on Christmas Eve.
You'll frequently find me enjoying outdoor activities like a good walk, swimming, kayaking, attending a farmer's market, or watching football or baseball outdoors. Did you know that fresh air cleans your lungs, boosts your mood, lowers your heart rate, increases your energy levels, and improves digestion? Get out there!
