Currently, I am working as a postdoctoral scholar in the BSIM Group, Department of Electrical Engineering and Computer Sciences, at the University of California, Berkeley, under the guidance of Prof. Sayeef Salahuddin and Prof. Chenming Hu.
Before that, I completed my Ph.D. in the Device Research Lab (DiRac Lab), Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering, at the Indian Institute of Technology Roorkee, Uttarakhand, India. I was working as a Prime Minister's Research Fellow under the joint supervision of Prof. Avirup Dasgupta, Prof. Anand Bulusu, and Dr. Shruti Mehrotra (GlobalFoundries, India).
I received my B.E. degree from Sant Longowal Institute of Engineering and Technology (SLIET), India, in 2020. In B.E., I received the silver medal for academic excellence (2020) and the tuition fee waiver for All India Rank (AIR)-6 in the SLIET entrance test (SET-III) 2017. I am an AIR-568 holder in the GATE 2020 exam. Besides, I also received the Institute Gold Medal during my Polytechnic Diploma in 2017.
My area of research focuses on developing a compact model for future generation transistors and emerging memory technologies, such as ferroelectric, ULTRARAM, etc. In addition, I am also involved in the TCAD simulations for reliability studies, such as low-frequency noise, thermal noise, NBTI, etc.
Outside of academia, I enjoy swimming, cycling, trekking, etc. I am also actively involved in volunteering at social events, demonstrating my commitment to making a positive impact beyond the academic realm.
My hometown is Bareilly, a city in the Indian state of Uttar Pradesh.
