AAEC 5000: Professional Internship (Institution: Texas Tech University)
This course serves as a core course for the Master of Agribusiness Program students. Usually, students take this course in the semester when they pursue their internships. Students working full-time are generally considered interns if they work in firms related to agriculture. They develop industry-focused reports related to their work, and this provides them with a capstone experience that bridges academic learning with real-world application. The report culminates in a presentation by the students during their Master of Agribusiness defense to the committee.
