The Bottom Line
I believe in fiscal restraint. Our local government needs to spend money in order to maintain and grow our community, but doing so needs to be approached in a more judicious manner utilizing significantly more communication with the community at large.
The town needs a Mayor who will exercise good judgment, derived from the consent of the people, on how to manage all aspects of our town. Under my leadership, no decisions will be made without open, and honest public inquiry. Listen, then decide.
We all want our home values to increase, but the taxes associated with that often provide economic burdens that are unsustainable for many of our residents. We should seek to relieve that financial burden, not just by not raising taxes but by lowering them. I believe that if that becomes our primary goal, we can find ways to achieve that.
Last, we want to attract new businesses to Kyle, and grow our communities, but we need to be meticulous in how we utilize the open space available. Having a town crowded with homes and office parks, without recreational space or businesses for entertainment and enjoyment purposes, does not make for a desirable location. We must grow the right way.
I wish to be a Mayor that puts the people first, serving ALL of our community members, working to make Kyle a safe community, an enticing destination and family oriented town where people want to put down roots. We can do this together!

Creo en la moderación fiscal. Nuestro gobierno local necesita gastar dinero para mantener y hacer crecer nuestra comunidad, pero hacerlo debe abordarse de una manera más juiciosa utilizando una comunicación significativamente mayor con la comunidad en general.
El municipio necesita un Alcalde que ejerza el buen juicio, derivado del consentimiento de la gente, sobre cómo gestionar todos los aspectos de nuestro municipio. Bajo mi liderazgo, no se tomarán decisiones sin una investigación pública abierta y honesta. Escuche, luego decida.
Todos queremos que el valor de nuestras casas aumente, pero los impuestos asociados con eso a menudo generan cargas económicas que son insostenibles para muchos de nuestros residentes. Debemos buscar aliviar esa carga financiera, no solo no aumentando los impuestos, sino reduciéndolos. Creo que si ese se convierte en nuestro objetivo principal, podemos encontrar formas de lograrlo.
Por último, queremos atraer nuevos negocios a Kyle y hacer crecer nuestras comunidades, pero debemos ser meticulosos en cómo utilizamos el espacio abierto disponible. Tener una ciudad llena de casas y parques de oficinas sin espacio recreativo o negocios con fines de entretenimiento y disfrute no es un lugar deseable. Debemos crecer de la manera correcta.
Deseo ser un alcalde que ponga a la gente en primer lugar, sirva a TODOS los miembros de nuestra comunidad, trabaje para hacer de Kyle una comunidad segura, un destino atractivo y una ciudad orientada a la familia donde la gente quiera echar raíces. ¡Podemos hacerlo juntos!
