We investigate how social cognitive processes and behaviors change with age using behavioral and neuroimaging methods. Social cognition and behaviors (e.g., understanding another person's minds, making decisions in social contexts) are crucial to our daily lives, and they are highly connected with one's well-being, especially as we are getting older. By examining how they change across the lifespan, we are ultimately hoping to contribute to boosting older adults' well-being.
