What is a GIF?
GIF stands for "Graphics Interchange Format." A GIF is a type of image file used to display short quick animations. They are often used for sharing small video clips online or adding movement to graphics and adding text to these video clips as well. GIFs can be created from static images or video footage and are commonly used for sharing on social medias and the internet. Here you will find my process in creating all my GIFs.
Inspiration for GIFs
GIFs Design Process
Here is my first attempt at a GIF. It is an animation of a moving ball bouncing up and down to give the illusion that it's bouncing like a basketball. Althought this project is so simple, it helped me gain more knowledge about how to create a gif.
For, my second GIF I decided to create something a little more challenging. I hand drew each fruit, which was one of the most challenging parts. As well as the green swirls at each corner. Although it was challenging, I learned a lot along the way and I'm happy the way the finish product looks.
For my third GIF, I created this lightbulb animation. It was a really fun and simple project. For the future, I definitley want to create something more challenging to help fuel my creativity and challenge myself as well in the process.
