Hi, I am a Roboticist

who is passionate about Control, Learning and Legged Robots

About Me

I am a Master's student at the Robotics Department at the University of Michigan. I am working on Stair Climbing Controller for Underactuated Bipedal Robots at the Bipedal Walking Lab supervised by Prof. Jessy Grizzle. I received my bachelor degree in Electrical Engineering at the Indian Institute of Technology Roorkee, India.

I used to be an Embedded Software Engineer at Qualcomm India. I was working on Optimizing the performance of Windows OS and application on Snapdragon Laptops.

I will be joining ICON Lab supervised by Prof. Negar Mehr at University of California Berkeley this coming Fall 2024.

Research Interest

My interest lies in combining machine learning and control algorithms for robots. I believe it's the future of control for autonomous systems.  I am currently interested in the:

 Selected Projects

ALIP Controller for Biped Robot: Cassie

Using Angular Momentum Inverted Pendulum model based controller for Cassie for stair climbing.

Study and Control of Biped Robot using Intelligent Control Techniques

Implemented the classical and fuzzy-controller on self-designed and self-manufactured biped robot.

Implementation of ANN based Model Predictive Control for Driverless Cars

Developed ANN- based model instead of mathematical model in Model Predictive Control to limit the modelling errors

ABU Robocon 2018 : “NÉM CÒN" - Shuttlecock Throwing

Developed a completely autonomous bot that worked only based on feedback from sensors using various smart algorithms.
