DESIGN
Color: I chose the blue background to go with the jersey and the white text to be sure that it can be read.
Alignment: I put the image of Maradona on the right looking to the left to the text on the left. The text is all aligned on the left going down.
Contrast: I used the white to contrast with the blue to give it more emphasis.
PHOTOSHOP
What I did was start with cutting out the cartoon image of Maradona. I then decided to put him on the right and color the background in a dusty blue color. I then added the text, Descance en Paz which means rest in peace in Spanish. I thought I would make a small memorial to him because he is a big influence on why I played soccer growing up. I put the text on the left because Maradona is looking to the left in the cartoon. I blew up the image to make it a big image and smaller text.
