Design
Contrast: I used the text to contrast with the other parts of the design to be sure it stands out.
Alignment: I used the right alignment in the picture to use the space on that side.
Colors: I used a blue palette to have different shades of blue and then used white to help the text to stand out.
Font choice: I used obitron and bungee.
Photoshop
What I did in this project was use an image of Old Main from Utah State and an image of trees. I used the select object tool to select out the image of the building and then I made it more transparent to be sure that it fits better with the image. I wanted to use blue because that is a Utah State color. The background image of the trees is originally green and I made them blue to match old main. I then put in the text using different fonts to be sure that they stood out more I used the color white to contrast the dark blue.
