Exhibit 1

DESIGN

Contrast: I was able to contrast the lettering to make the different words I wanted to emphasize pop out more.

Alignment: I aligned the words on the left side of the photo because I wanted to be sure that Jesus and the child were shown and not covered. I also left breathing room for the words from the edges of the picture.

Repetition: I used the red color, the color of love, twice to show the important words in the sentence.

Color Scheme: After a revision of the exhibit I chose to take the red out of the lettering and leave it all white to make it easier to read.

Font Choice: Broadway for the red words and Articulate Exrabold for the white words.

PHOTOSHOP

I started by googling different pictures of Jesus. I figured that since it is getting close to Easter might as well use the church option for the assignment. I really liked this picture and saved it. I opened photoshop and created a new project. I then thought about the wording that I could use and I came up with, "He taught us that we must Love one another." Then I moved that text around to be sure that it doesn't cover anything but also is readable. I left the letters white to make sure that it was easier to see. With my revision of the design I also moved the lettering from the edges of the picture to create some breathing room.
