Day 3
Reflection:
It was a chill day overall and my first time going out there alone. It was a little scary since I kept hearing noises like moving bushes. Anyways it started sprinkling so it was extra slippery getting to my spot since you have to go down a steep hill to get to it. I just had to do the pH, conductivity and temperature readings since I already did the water sampling on the first day(oops). I heard a lot of birds for some reason like the Northern Carnival kept singing pretty loudly and I heard a Northern Flicker which was interesting since I haven't heard them the other times that I went to the stream. Since it was an easy day, I tried to observe other things around the stream like I looked closely at the algae stuff in my stream and noticed it was fuzzy and brownish. I also noticed a different type of flower and how some rocks had different colors like orange and red on them. I also noticed that the conductivity increased as you moved down the stream and as you went up the stream it decreased. For instance, when I moved up the stream (the other side of the bridge) I got conductivity of 546, meanwhile I got 996 downstream about a 2 1/2-minute walk downstream. But overall, today my stream had a higher conductivity since my usual place where I record my data had a conductivity of 868 that's almost 100 more than yesterday's (770). Maybe because of the recent rain that we got that this phenomenal happened.

I moved them into a spot where it was too hot(oops).
