POLICY AND DATA RELATING TO HEALTH, SAFETY AND WELFARE OF EMPLOYEES, INCLUDING COMPANY SPONSORED TRAININGS

I. OBJECTIVE

It is the policy of ASIA AMALGAMATED HOLDINGS CORPORATION (the "Company") to develop a positive health, safety and welfare to all its employees through its organization including its subsidiaries, and as much, believes the health and safety standards are pre-requisite in the pursuit of the Company's efficiency and competitiveness. Therefore, the Company acknowledges its legal and moral responsibilities to protect, enhance and nurture its employee's health, safety and general welfare and also to give awards if deemed necessary.

II. POLICY

  • Learning and development activities must be conducted for employees, taking into account their learning/training needs to ensure employees are competent, adequately trained, and have suitable supervision for their tasks.

  • Meet all the requirements on applicable environmental, health and safety laws and regulations.

  • Medical benefits consisting of annual physical examinations, physician consultations, diagnostic procedures and if possible, hospitalization for employees.

  • Provide insurance entitlement for employees.

  • Provide incentives to motivate and reward employees who contribute and exceeds business objectives.

  • Encourage team building activities and socialization events to promote camaraderie among employees such as Sports Fest, Company Outings, Christmas Party, etc.

  • Give Loyalty or Service Award to employees who served the company for a certain period of years.

  • Secure a bereavement contribution fund for the benefit of the employee's surviving beneficiary in case of death.

  • Create an Emergency Response Team to lead during emergency situations like fires, floods and earthquakes.

  • Provide a round-a-clock security to its employees.

  • Provide medical kits to strategic places in case accidents or injuries occur.

  • Provide clear signage to the Company's premises.

  • Regular maintenance of the Company's air-conditioning system, lighting, alarm, sprinkler system, flooring, water system, elevator system, etc and also, to provide fire extinguishers placed on strategic places.

  • Provide a drug-free and non-smoking environment.

III. MONITORING AND EVALUATION

The implementation of the above-mentioned policy activity shall be monitored and evaluated periodically by the management through its various departments to ensure the safety of the workplace and the satisfaction of its employees.

IV. EFFECTIVITY

The provisions stated on the policies and its accompanying programs shall be immediately effective after its approval by the Board and shall be made known to all employees.
