AAAFEC offers a year-round calendar of free financial education offerings to the public in the Annapolis and Anne Arundel County community. To learn more or register, please click here.
In addition, AAAFEC conducts classes as part of the Anne Arundel Community College GED Program, and for employees of Anne Arundel County Public Schools. Registration in these classes is not open to the general public.
If you are interested in having a AAAFEC educator lead a Financial Education presentation for your organization, please download and fill out the form at this link (PDF) or at this link (Word) and email it to info.aaafec@gmail.com.
In 2025, AAAFEC taught 49 financial education classes for 424 people. Classes covered budgeting, saving, investing, taxes, financial computer skills and consumer protection. These classes were delivered at Annapolis and Anne Arundel County libraries, housing programs and Boys and Girls Clubs; and at Anne Arundel Community College, Anne Arundel County Public School's Center for Applied Technology South; and via webinars. Many thanks to our Volunteer Educators who are professional bankers, financial advisors, investment professionals, tax specialists, lawyers and other personal finance professionals.

The Winter 2026 classes begin January 13th at 6pm and will showcase key topics presented in previous series that we have been asked to repeat.
Feel free to join all sessions or to attend any session that is of interest.
We've completed the Fall 2024, Winter 2025 , and the Fall 2025 series of these classes.

The following video lessons were developed by Junior Achievement of Central Maryland with their volunteers for use with middle school students. They address all six curriculum standards for middle school personal financial education that are required by MSDE. Each 10-15 minute video presents a personal finance concept and includes a related exercise, and can be used in a virtual classroom or home-schooling setting.
