Natalia Awenius - a Visual artist
Natalia Awenius is a renowned artist and graphic designer whose work combines traditional techniques with contemporary forms of expression. Together with Werner Awenius, founder of the A2 Gallery, located at Lindenstraße 53, 14467 Potsdam, she promotes contemporary art.
Natalia was born in 1971 in Novosibirsk, Siberia (Russia). She received an academic education in the arts and soon began exhibiting her work regularly. Her first solo exhibition took place in 2004 at the German-Russian Cultural Center in Novosibirsk.
In the years that followed, she participated in numerous regional and international exhibitions, including in galleries, embassies, and state museums in Russia, Germany, Bulgaria, and Spain. Her works have been shown multiple times at the State Art Museum of Novosibirsk, the Regional Art Museum of Tomsk, as well as at international festivals such as the Mini Print International in Barcelona.
A special focus of Natalia’s work lies in abstract art, where she explores the power of color, line, and texture. Her paintings and graphic works are held in private collections in Germany, Russia, and other countries.
Together with Werner Awenius, the A2 Gallery in Potsdam provides a platform to promote modern art and showcase works by both established masters and emerging talents. Natalia continues to develop her artistic style and is actively engaged in making art more accessible and visible to the public.
