Sir Leroy was the epitome of a knight in shining armour protected by the power of the gods. Until an incident when he was cooking a meal at his party’s camp while they were scouting a dungeon, realised he’d been left behind, thought they’d gone in, and charged after them. The rest of the party tried to stop him and they were all killed in an ambush.
A passer-by stumbled across the camp (and the free meal) and took the mortally wounded Leroy back to Wardale, where a statue was erected in his honour with an engraving of his final words:
“At least I’ve got chicken.”
