I coach clients 1-on-1 making myself fully available via text for guidance & support as they implement A Taylor'd Nutrition Plan/ Workout Guide. Spots are limited & fill up quickly each month. Filling out an application/submitting payment is how spots are secured.
From there I get to work creating a plan that is Taylor'd to you and only you to ensure success. This is not a cookie cutter diet with specific meals you HAVE to eat, but a guideline to help you make healthy swaps & boundaries to stay within both calorically & for your macro & micronutrient intake.) I include a sample day of meals but that doesn't mean that's all you have to eat.
I take on a small number of new 1-on-1 clients to coach each month for nutrition or fitness related goals and make myself fully available to each client. Through our constant communication I am able to hold each client accountable when life may get hectic, checking progress photos, meal prep photos, & screen shots of their use of the MyFitnessPal app which shows me the breakdown of each of their meals.

This journey is not an easy one, mamas, but with the right support and guidance it sure as hell is possible to reach your goals!!
Getting "fit" doesn't happen overnight. Small changes over time end up making a big difference, but having someone who has been where you are and has the knowledge to get you where you want to be is essential.
I began my journey to health in 2009 after graduating college with a Bachelors degree in Elementary Education and another in English. Along with these two trophies I had spent 5 years working my rear-end off to obtain, I had also managed to gain about 80 pounds. How does that happen? Well, quite easily actually! Couple not moving very much with terrible eating habits and also being in an overall unhealthy relationship and VOILA!
So, I was done with college and ready to become a teacher but I felt absolutely terrible in my own skin. How could I go into an interview and be confident enough to start my career in the classroom when I wasn't confident PERIOD? Now, as I was gaining weight I would occasionally try the latest diet out there (I literally tried them ALL- and even diet pills!!) but I would always return to my previous weight or higher because they were too restrictive (usually super unhealthy) and not a plan I could follow for very long. For those who know, this type of "yo-yo dieting" is VERY taxing both mentally and physically & is terrible for your metabolism (and overall well-being!).
I finally decided that I needed to join a gym and start moving my body (and also END that terrible relationship!!) and that was when I began to meet people who encouraged me to workout and eat balanced meals which included all food groups. Little by little the weight began to come off and I continued to research and network with people who were able to transform their bodies. Through these conversations I learned how to eat for life instead of just "dieting". When I met my husband, I followed him into Gold's Gym in New Haven where I REALLY learned how to lift weights to sculpt my body the way that I wanted instead of only walking on the treadmill to lose weight. (Thank goodness because I was not very shapely after an almost 100 pound weight loss!)
Networking with people at this incredible gym, some of whom were once where I was currently, was what really catapulted me in the right direction and helped me learn how to attain/maintain a healthy body.
That is why I decided to become a certified personal trainer; I know the struggle and the feeling of being downright lost when it comes to losing weight and getting healthy. I wish I had reached out sooner instead of spending years absolutely miserable as I yo-yo dieted and felt hopeless with all of my unsuccessful attempts at fat loss.
Once I began researching nutrition & received my certification in Sports Nutrition, I wondered if my cystic acne was linked to my diet. I started working with a naturopath who encouraged me to slowly eliminate dairy and a lot of meat from my diet to see how my skin would react.
This wasn't the easiest thing for an Italian who grew up on spaghetti & meatballs along with chicken cutlets every day, but I felt like I would experiment & see how I felt. It didn't have too much of an impact on my skin, but it sure did have a significant impact on my digestion! I felt less sluggish & just all around lighter.
Once I dropped the dairy & went fully vegan a few months later (watch a few Netflix documentaries such as Forks Over Knives & What the Health & it'll help you do so quite easily...lol) my skin cleared, my nails & hair grew faster than I ever imagined possible & when I went to the eye doctor because the glasses I was wearing were giving me a headache, I learned that my vision was now 20/20 & I no longer needed them. Amazing, right? I could NOT believe it.
Food is literally medicine & replacing the meat and cheese I was eating everyday with more beans, avocado, fruits & veggies made my body CLEARLY happier-- and so was my skin. Now people come to me plagued with high cholesterol, high blood pressure & many other issues that my plant-based meal plans help to cure. So many clients have used my plans to get off medication, lose weight & regain their health! It feels SO GOOD to be able help people change their lives just by showing them which foods they should start incorporating into their daily routine & some yummy ways to do it!

Once I learned how to eat more BALANCED, I slowly incorporated meat and dairy back into my diet and I felt amazing. It really is all about balance and moderation.
Along with understanding that nutrition is a key component to feeling your best & living a long healthy life, I understand that TIME is a challenge- especially for moms. Having a meal plan that can be prepped for one day per week is key. When it comes to exercise, we also need something that can be done quickly and at home in order to get the ball rolling with weight loss. After having my first son on December 19, 2019 it was such a challenge to get out and to the gym for a workout every day as a new mom. Being able to just take a half hour in my living room while my son napped or played on his activity mat is much more realistic! For that reason, I created my At-Home Workout Guides that fit any schedule & my Taylor'd Gym Guides which are currently under construction (Level 1 and 2) and will be available soon! My Nutrition Plans are unique to each particular person and require you to be honest in your answers on my questionnaire in order for a program to be created that will work for you!
Speaking of becoming a new mom, once my first son arrived and I was trying to get back to feeling like myself (and, let's be honest, fit back into my pre-pregnancy clothes!) I wanted to do so safely. That led me to the decision of getting my Pre and Postnatal Fitness Certification! Through that certification I learned so much new knowledge about how to stay healthy and workout safely before and after pregnancy. I used all of this new knowlege throughout my second pregnancy in 2022 and what an incredible experience that entire pregnancy was right through a completely natural labor and delivery. I did the same for my third pregnancy in 2023-2024 & actually caught my baby myself upon walking into the hospital. It was INCREDIBLE.
I cannot say enough how much of a part my background in prenatal nutrition & exercise played in having such an easy time. I felt so strong as I labored at home for 2 days with baby 2 and just hours for baby 3 and kept myself properly fueled & hydrated. I healed QUICKLY and felt like myself again almost too soon. I was also able to exclusively breastfeed my second and third baby which I wasn't able to do with my first in 2019. I am still doing so while losing weight and slowly getting my strong physique back while adding in exercise 3-4 times per week. It feels good to KNOW what to do to reach my goals this time around & feel good while doing so!
