AP biology, despite teaching the same-ish topics as freshman bio goes into a LOT of detail. Many topics are visual as well, so drawing diagrams is one of the best ways to see how systems work. Be prepared to take notes, and study in consistent increments for tests and the AP exam.
This link on the left is a lengthy overview of the AP bio curriculum. It has every topic's notes, diagrams, models, vocab, etc. This may work for some and not so much for others (and that's ok!). We recommend you preview this but not solely rely on notes that have already been made for you, but rather write and summarize your own. (Plus, writing notes helps with memory). BELOW YOU CAN FIND STUDY GUIDES BY PACKETS HANDED OUT:
We suggest printing out these study guides and have it in front of you as you open up its online version on google docs and click throught the embedded videos. Then you can annotate the paper as you please. Feel free to make a copy of these docs and add whatever you feel useful to yourself!
