AP biology, despite teaching the same-ish topics as freshman bio goes into a LOT of detail. Many topics are visual as well, so drawing diagrams is one of the best ways to see how systems work. Be prepared to take notes, and study in consistent increments for tests and the AP exam.
This link on the left is a lengthy overview of the AP bio curriculum. It has every topic's notes, diagrams, models, vocab, etc. This may work for some and not so much for others (and that's ok!). We recommend you preview this but not solely rely on notes that have already been made for you, but rather write and summarize your own. (Plus, writing notes helps with memory). Go to the Study Tips & Tricks page for note-writing help and techniques
