Setting Up Your CAP Issued Email
Once you become a cadet and have received your CAPID, you will be able to access a CAP email that will allow you to be able to use all the apps available on google chrome. This is a great recourse for cadets that don't have an email or don't want to fill up their personal emails with CAP related activities.
Your CAP email will consist of your CAPID numbers @akwg.cap.gov (i.e. 123456@akwg.cap.gov). It's a pretty straightforward process that will give you full access to everything that an email provides. Just follow the steps below and if you're having any complications, just ask someone at your next meeting.
Step one: Look up akwg.cap.gov and open the website
Step two: click the blue drop down that says "Members."
Step three: click the "password reset" option
Step four: From there fill out the following google form. After you do so, you will be emailed a temporary password. Use this to sign in through google. After you sign in, you can change your password to a permeant one. Try to make it something that you can remember as you will use this email throughout your time as a cadet. You can also change this password at anytime.
