A new way of learning at Rocky Mountain College
Pathways is our new “distributed learning” model. It is taking our classroom courses out of the box, and down the road to where you are.
With our focus on discipleship, leadership and social care, Pathways now enables students, professionals, and life-long learners, to take advantage of our programs and courses no matter where they are.
Courses are available to Anyone. Anywhere. Anytime. Often times God speaks to us and we yearn for a richer life. But obstacles appear.
Pathways is about removing obstacles and allowing access to quality learning experiences. We foster changed lives both locally and globally.
It is our hope that we can show you a new pathway to learning, ministry and a richer, more meaningful life. Thank you for exploring RMC’s Pathways program.

2022 Oberammergau Pilgrimages- First Date
Travel to Bavaria to experience the world-famous Passion Play! Enjoy Alpine sightseeing, and visit sacred Christian sites along the way! The history of the Passion Play goes back to the year 1634 when the quaint alpine village of Oberammergau was threatened by the Black Plague that scourged Europe, killing two-thirds of the population in Germany. The people of Oberammergau vowed that if the village could be spared, a re-enactment of the life and suffering of Christ would be performed. The village was miraculously saved from the ravages of the Black Death. Now, the inhabitants of the town perform the play every ten years with critical acclaim!

The Catholic Educators’ Conference (CEC) is held each year to provide opportunity for the spiritual and professional growth of Catholic educators, for the development of Christian community, and to provide leadership in the development of a dynamic, evangelistic school system.
Our two-day conference will once again be held at the Vancouver Trade and Convention Centre in downtown Vancouver.
RECongress February 20, 2020
Held at the Anaheim Convention Center, 800 West Katella Ave., Anaheim, Calif. (just across from Disneyland).
Welcome!
Youth Day opens our event and is held annually on the Thursday of the Religious Education Congress weekend. It is a day just for youth from many different backgrounds from throughout the Archdiocese – and beyond – to participate in a Rally, It is a day planned by young people, for young people. Young people will have the opportunity to experience speakers, exhibits, music, liturgy, and prayer that invite them deeper into their relationship with Christ. Young people will leave inspired and challenged to live as missionary disciples in their homes, schools, parishes and communities.
Who Can Attend?
Youth Day is designed for all students from public and Catholic schools, grades 9 through 12.
Unfortunately, young people in 8th grade or those who have already graduated high school are not permitted to attend. Young people must register as part of a group and be accompanied by a Chaperone at all times. Parents and Chaperones wishing to accompany young people at Youth Day should become familiar with the Chaperone Policies in advance.
Youth Day 2020 Theme
Our theme for Youth Day is "20/20 Through God's Eyes." Each teen has a different perspective of how God sees them. Sometimes, we get caught up with comparing ourselves or judging others for what they have or don’t have and we forget the important thing: God doesn’t care about all the “riches.” He cares that we see ourselves through his eyes. Often, with social media, we are judging others, or worse, ourselves. No one likes to be judged, so why would we do it? Our vision is blurred when “we are thinking not as God does, but as human beings do” because society forces us to live up to unrealistic expectations that can get exhausting and overwhelming. Teens and the whole church need to see "Through God's Eyes" so we can fight the injustices that are tearing us apart as human beings. Not judging a person for who they love or where they are from but rather loving them because they are who they are. Looking through his eyes, he shows us how perfect we are in ways that he has created us to be. Come and get ready to see yourself with those new lenses, 20/20 Through God’s Eyes!

Loss of employment can be trying to our souls and our emotional balance, not just our financial health. Struggling for a sense of hope, in the midst of disappointment, is an arduous task. At this time in history, a significant number of people are without work.
At this time in history, a significant number of people are without work. During this retreat our intent is a willingness to journey side by side, offering hope and long term perspective, by allowing opportunity for deep listening, creating a setting that allows those who attend this retreat to name their experience and recognize that they are not alone. A loss of job and income can bring with it feelings of desperation.
Our message is not to give up and become overwhelmed with the pain, lose and chaos, but to look around, pay attention to the daily small gifts that come our way, even when they are not the gift of that job that we eagerly seek. Reaching out for help and support of others, as well as sharing experience can be a shining light in the midst of struggle.
Stay Connected!
This retreat is not a job-finding but a heart helping retreat of conversation, reflection, laughter, connectedness and hope!

Rejoice in the Lord always; again I will say, Rejoice. Let your gentleness be known to everyone. The Lord is near. Do not worry about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.

This retreat is intended for physicians and trainees from all Ontario, and hopefully beyond. Its first iteration in 2017 was very well received. Much of what we’ve done in recent years has resolved around some heavy advocacy work, but this only makes sense if we are drawn closer to Christ, the Physician of our souls and bodies … I would encourage physicians and trainees of all ages to try to carve time in their spring schedule for this, knowing that some have to arrange time for significant travel. For those with families, please note that the retreat is explicitly intended to be accommodating in this regard — with a very large property for roaming and rooms for napping. This is an excellent opportunity to invite a colleague to a prayerful activity …
