The Richard Evans Foundation on Child Trafficking

Separation and trafficking of innocent children is a grave crime. Asides destroying the innocent childhood, it gives room for all sorts of exploitation for these children regardless of gender. According to statistics, Child trafficking accounts for 27% of all victims of human trafficking worldwide to which 2 out of 3 children are girls.

In most cases, these children are sold to trafficking by a family member, a product of a baby factory, or lured by false promises of greener pastures. These unsuspecting children are exploited sexually or domestically, forced to train as young soldiers (especially kids living in conflict zones).

Hence why it is imperative for advocating bodies like us The Richard Evans Foundation curb this menace from the grassroots and sensitizing the families of the menace that is Child Trafficking.
