8th Annual JADE Conference
April 11-12, 2026
at Kyoto University
The eighth annual Japanese Association for Development Economics (JADE) conference will be held at Kyoto University, Japan, on April 11-12, 2026.
Since April is the peak tourist season in Kyoto, accommodations may be difficult to secure. We strongly encourage participants to make their reservations well in advance. Please note that no conference rate is offered. Participants are responsible for making their own hotel reservations, as the program committee will not arrange accommodations on their behalf.
This website will be updated regularly as the conference date approaches.
Registration:
Please register here to participate in the conference.
The participation fee varies depending on your JADE membership status, position, and registration date. The deadline for early registration is April 3, 2026.
If you would like to become a JADE member, please apply here.
If you wish to attend the conference dinner (a standing buffet reception on the evening of the first day), please also register through the same registration link above. The dinner fee is JPY 5,000, and registration is required by April 3, 2026 for reservation purposes. The deadline for cancellation is also April 3, 2026.
