When i try to play my friends in 8 ball pool it wont let me it always says i need to update to the new version then i go to the app store and try to update it but it says its already up to date ? Help please

And to specify I mean just as regular 8 ball. Break but solids must start at 9 and work up as solids would with 1-7. I guess that would be the main change. But are there any other rules that go along?

9 Ball Pool is played with 9 balls labeled 1-9 and a cue ball. 9 Ball is a rotation game wherein players try to shoot at the lowest number on the table. Balls do not need to be pocketed in numerical order, however the cue ball must strike the lowest numbered ball on the table first. Are the ideas beginning to flow? In order to win, you must be the first to pocket the 9 ball.

In accordance with Official 9 Ball Rules, the game begins with a diamond rack. The 1 ball is placed in front at the point of the diamond so that the player who has the opening break can hit the 1st ball without fouling. The 9 ball is placed in the middle of the diamond to prevent advanced players from winning the game within the first few shots. Now you can begin the game by tossing a coin to decide who goes first.

If you pocket a ball, it is still your turn until you miss, foul, or win the game by pocketing the 9 ball. After you miss, the next player must shoot from where the cue ball is left on the table. If the incoming player is shooting after a foul shot by the previous player, the incoming player has ball-in-hand and can place the ball anywhere on the table.

The first player to pocket the 9 ball is the winner. Of course you will experience other odd situations so continue reading to understand how to play a game of 9 ball pool from beginning to end.

Unlike other cue sports, you do not have to call shots when playing 9 ball pool. What makes the game unique is that the cue ball must come into contact with the lowest number on the table. Balls can be pocketed out of order so long as the lowest number ball receives initial contact.

Although snooker, pool, and billiards are quite distinct, many people play them using any table. For example, they play snooker on a pool table, where a professional table measures seven feet long and 3.5 feet wide.

To score points, which are known as counts, you need to bounce the cue ball off the other two balls. Note that these two other balls are already on the table, and remember that white and yellow are the cue balls. You play against another individual or team. The goal is to make sure that you get awarded the most points. To know who will begin the match, you will have to string, which can either be based on an imaginary line (head string) or the number of wins (scoring string).

The first shot is known as the break, which determines the type of balls each player will need to pocket to win. The one who wins the break shot will choose whether to play with coloured or striped balls. To win the pool game, you will need to pocket the number 8 ball after you have pocketed all seven balls. You also win if your opponent accidentally pots the 8 ball, which is illegal. Another way to be declared the victor is to knock the 8 ball off the table.

The controls of 8 Ball Pool (GameLoop) have been adapted to PCs, so you can move the cue stick with your mouse. Using these controls, try to win the game by hitting the cue ball at the right angle and the correct amount of force. As you play, use the energy bar on the left side of the screen to help you hit the ball with just enough force. Finally, watch out for the black ball as you play, because if you knock it into a pocket your game will be over.

On top of all that, you can earn coins and use them to unlock new items, compete for prizes in tournaments as you gradually improve your skills, and enjoy all the games modes of the famous billiards game on your PC with 8 Ball Pool (GameLoop). Check it out, play exciting games, and see if you can sink all your balls in the pockets before your opponent.

8 Ball Pool is an online and mobile-based billiard-themed pool simulation sports game maintained and operated by Miniclip, a games company based in Switzerland, Portugal, Italy and England.[2] As of June 2015, 8 Ball Pool was ranked number one of one-hundred in Miniclip's Top 100 List.[3]

In 2008, Miniclip released a game which would later become 8 Ball Pool, whom they fittingly christened 8 Ball Quick Fire Pool. The game was described as a "simple variation of the classic 8 Ball Pool", the primary objective being to pot as many balls as possible before the timer runs out in order to secure a high score; sinking balls would add additional time to the clock.[7] The game was complex and highly addictive and, before long it had one million active players and was dubbed "one of the most played games on Miniclip".[7]

The Miniclip team worked productively and collaboratively in order to make sure that the game's physics were perfect; they had to simulate the true "look" and "feel" of the real life 8 Ball Pool.[7] Miniclip even claimed that they received emails composed by professional pool players regarding how well the game was put together.[7]

The main way they did this was by introducing a revamped ranking system and an all-exclusive virtual currency for the game; they would use these new Pool Coins to make players pay small entry fees to matches with even bigger rewards - prizes varied from 50 to 250,000.[7] In addition, experience would be given, allowing players alike to level up to their own accord.[7] 8 Ball Pool had again become even more competitive. In order to give players something to spend their pool coins on, 8 Ball Pool added a new feature which would later become one of the most iconic aspects of 8 Ball Pool itself: they would add cues to allow players to be able to spend their pool coins on something entirely different.[7] These cues would promote competitive play and entice more and more players in. Initially, 39 cues would be released[7] but this number was increased greatly to over 130. The update was released in December of 2012 and, as of early 2013, Miniclip had doubled their amount of players.[7] ff782bc1db
