I know that I am not currently a TV triallist although I have been in the past. I am evry interested in this problem as I have had similar issues which I have not been able to resolve with the forum OCEs. In fact I am expecting a replacment box today. It occurs to me that if the same problem is happening on two boxes in the same house then the cause may be due to something outside of the STBs themselves. As I have been investigating this problem I read somewhere that (with another make of box) these kind of affects had been traced to having too high a signal strength. I have today looked at the Youview discussion on signal strength in which they suggest the anything over 75% can be as bad as having too low a value. In the past I have tried to boost my signal to as close to 100% as possible but, in the light of this information have reduced my signal strength to around 75% for most of the channels I regularly watch / record. I realise that you are seeing the effect on iplayer but of course the STB is also busy dealing with the terrestial transmissions at the same time. I wonder what signal strength you have? Also I would be interested in the TT TV technical people's view on what is the optimum signal strength for the DN372T.
