Kids in Manufacturing! Vermeer Visit

During the time we were at Vermeer, we did many different activities that they had set up for kids interested in engineering. The activities we went to helped us realize all it took to be in a STEM career.

On October 4, Evans Lego League took a field trip to Vermeer, Pella. There were different stations to view and interact with.

The stations were about:

• Money and where it's from
• Height Safety
• Drilling tools
• Crawler Loaders
• Gallium (a mold-able material)
• 3D Printing
• Coding
• Sphero's
• Augers
• Phishing Emails
• PC parts
• Measurements
