Dance:
The dancer Azee danced for the Dreamers song. She practiced 3 times each week until it was perfect. We were also divided into groups, and each group will create a dance about any type of media, we could choose any song that we wanted.
Math:
We made a survey to collect people's answers, opinions and experiences on the spread of fake news. We also organized their answers using bar graphs and pie charts. We saw how many people have spread and/or receive fake news and how many people have not. We also asked questions to know the perspective of the victim better.
Music:
All Students from Grade 5 participated in the Dreamers song. There were several different types of instruments. Alessa, Aiko, Tiffany, and Emily performed as the musicians; the dancer was Azee.
Bahasa Indonesia:
We made a text about a media of our choice. We had 4 questions to answer for each paragraph. We wrote about which media we chose and why, how long is our screentime everyday/week, what the advantages and disadvantages of the media we chose are and how students can avoid excessive use of the media.
Writing:
We wrote persuasive texts to persuade people to take part in avoiding the spread of fake news and to convince people to take action starting with the people around them. We each made our own and added it to our Action tab. Our goal is for people to be aware of misinformation situations and know how to handle them. We also want people to start taking action if they have not tried doing one.
Visual Arts:
We adopted the style of Andy Warhol. Andy Warhol is the founder of American POP ART Period. In POP ART, everything was booming including Media (newspaper and magazine), movie, and radio. We learned simple printing technique to create the artwork. We used complementary colors/ analogue colors/warm and cool colors to color the artwork. The art media we used: colored pencil/paper/and water color. We also made an invitation poster for the PYPX.
