This website was created in 2022 by Aaron Chan as part of the Master of Educational Technology program at the University of British Columbia (ETEC 523). Aaron holds a Bachelors in Commerce in Management Information Systems, and has a background in implementing eCommerce and Marketing systems for Fortune 500 companies across 3 continents.

Within education, he has experience as an English as a Foreign Language (EFL) in South Korea, China and Taiwan. He believes in the educational potential of mobile applications, and regularly incorporates them into lesson plans. Intrigued by the effectiveness of mobile language learning applications that utilize speech recognition, Aaron wanted to take this opportunity to delve deeper.
