This lesson addresses the auxiliary functions that support the five essential functions: administration and support.
For the administrative and support ministries of the church to operate properly, the following actions should be taken:
Establish a posture of service toward the five essential functions. Administration and support does not serve itself. The aim is to facilitate and empower the functions of Worship & Prayer, Evangelism, Fellowship & Care, Discipleship, and Deployment into Service.
Celebrate those who faithfully serve in the administrative and supportive ministries of the church just as you would celebrate those who serve in what we are calling the five essential functions.
The video touches on these actions, and it also offers questions for assessing the health of the administration and support ministries. Those assessment points will be listed toward the end of this lesson page.
Consider the following assessment questions pertaining to administration and support in your local context. (Make sure that you have viewed this lesson's video before going any further.) If you are taking this course as part of a group study, discuss these points together.
