Dr. Randy Turpin

Your Instructor


Dr. Randy Turpin is the founder of and principal instructor for Leadership Training Tracks (LTT). He describes himself as "a Christian, a husband, a father, a grandfather, a revivalist, a public speaker, an educator, an administrator, a publisher, a writer, a ministry and leadership development consultant/coach and a lifetime learner."

In addition to directing Leadership Training Tracks, Randy has also served as a college President and as a seminary instructor. On the undergraduate, graduate and post-graduate levels, he has developed and taught courses specializing in Leadership, Prayer, Ministerial Practice, Biblical Studies and Spirit-Empowered Ministry.

From 2005 to 2010, Dr. Turpin was the Assistant Director of the Pentecostal Theological Seminary’s Center for Pentecostal Leadership and Care (CPLC), resourcing Pastoral Covenant Groups throughout the United States. For over twenty-four years, Dr. Turpin served in pastoral work in home missions states, his most notable contributions being in Northern New England and Minnesota. His calling to minister to emerging leaders has taken him to South America, Africa, Asia, Haiti and to various training venues in North America.

Among other works, Dr. Turpin has authored More of What Matters; Living the Prophetic Life; 21 Days of Prayer and Fasting; Essentials for Spirit-Empowered Ministry; Behold the Son: A Study of the Gospel of John; Gateway to the Christian College Experience; Prayer Strategy: A Planning Workbook and 101 Prayer Models. He has also co-authored Friends of God: Growing in Life’s Most Essential Relationship and Friends of the Bridegroom: Partnering with Christ in His Devotion to the Church.

Dr. Turpin is an ordained bishop in the Church of God (Cleveland, Tennessee) and has earned a B.A. degree in Biblical Studies from Lee University (1980) and M.Div. and D.Min. degrees from the Pentecostal Theological Seminary (1990 and 2005). Randy has devoted his life to the Gospel of Jesus Christ. He has given special emphasis to promoting prayer, spiritual renewal and the Spirit-empowered life.
