Each item receives custom packaging to protect it from damage. I build double thickness corrugated boxes and pack items as delicate as the custom fairy house shown securely. I aim to make the smallest package possible, because size is more important than weight in keeping shipping costs down.
I recycle packaging materials to the greatest extent possible. Please note that packing ceramics so they arrive in one piece is done with care and forethought so that the item is both sufficiently padded and cannot move within the package.
Refunds may be obtained for two reasons:
1. Items broken during shipping or, 2. Dissatisfaction.
BREAKAGE If a package arrives looking like it has been compromised during shipment, BEFORE opening it up, you MUST take pictures of the damages to the outside of the envelope or box. Fortunately, sometimes when there is damage to the box, it does not mean the contents have broken. If it has, please take in addition, pictures of the broken item. Only if both sets of pictures are received and damage in transit has been verified, can a refund be issued.
DISSATISFACTION You may, of course, return a product that doesn't live up your expectations. BUT you MUST re-wrap it as it was shipped since refunds cannot be given if the item is broken during return shipping. I highly recommend you snap some pictures as you unwrap your package when it arrives to aid in duplicating the same degree of protection if you decide to return it . Customers are responsible for return shipping costs.
