Each discus vase is unique. The two halves are cut from rolled out slabs, some are patterned, formed and joined together with extra weight in the bottom for stability. Once the form has firmed up, the next level of decoration may take place - painting and or carving as needed. There are two price tiers reflecting the amount of time and artistry to bring into reality my inner vision for the piece. Sometimes creating a discus sparks the idea for the next - inspiration is always an exciting event.
