"And Jesus came and said to them, 'All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age." -Matthew 28:18-20

This is the job that Jesus gave to his followers, and the mission is still happening today! We get to be part of it! The verses above are called The Great Commission. A commission means to be sent on a mission with a purpose. 

The 3 things that Jesus told his followers in The Great Commission were:

1. Go! - Don't keep the Good News of Jesus to yourself.

2. Make Disciples - Help people grow and follow Jesus.

3. Teach and Baptize - Baptize believers and teach them to obey his commands.

Sometimes we think only grown-up missionaries share the gospel. But every follower of Jesus can be part of His missions - even kids!
