No Alibi started off as a five-piece live band and quickly wittled down to a trio with Bob Prescott (guitar and lead vocals); Mick Cline (lead guitar) and Pablo Mayne (keyboards and vocals.) The band was active for 10-years in the Braintree, Essex area playing mainly pubs and clubs.

Included on the No Alibi album are extra tracks featuring Pablo with Mick Cline (Glory Road, Hard Drive.)

The Love You Feel Within was written by Pablo (audio and music curated.) The lyrics were written by his mother, Jean. The voiceover is Pablo’s father, Bunny, who passed away shortly after the recording. 

Stanford’s Magnificat in A was recorded at Portsmouth Cathedral and features Pablo as a cathedral chorister singing his 25th solo in 1970. The recording was captured on a portable cassette player.
