Andy was born in Hong Kong and came to America as an high school student in Michigan. Landing in a totally new environment with language barrier quickly made Andy adapt fast. His friendly personality and perseverance for excellence propelled Andy thru Purdue University Engineering to the Financial District of Chicago. After working for several larger firms, Andy found his biggest satisfaction was helping immigrant investors avoid bad investments and scams. So the investors' portfolios can be built with meaningful assets and thus generational wealth. That was when Corporate Investments Group was formed in 1995 and to this date, Andy believes all clients shall be treated as if they were your own brothers and sisters.
Whenever Andy interviews a new member, he adopts an ancient Chinese DZTQM philosophy. It encompass ethics, intellectuals, adaptability, social and "street-smart" in to considerations. For example, if a candidate has an impressive background, both academically and professionally but fails the ethics screening, it will be turned away. Andy resides with his family and a Pomeranian dog (born in Amish country of Indiana) named Wong Lei in Uptown Chicago.
