4-H Council

What is 4-H County Council?

The County Council is a group of 4-H members from across the county who meet once a month. Preferably two to four members from each 4-H club are present during County Council meetings. The purpose of the council is to hear the voice of our 4-H members and clubs and work together to create opportunities for members. The County Council has the responsibility of planning and carrying out county level 4-H activities and events. This includes County Events, the Volunteer Appreciation Dinner, Open House Night, and Awards Night. Meetings are held every month, and open to all 4-H youth in Seminole County. We'd love to have you come say hello!

How Do I Participate in the County Council?

1Attend Meetings!

We’re always open to new 4-H members attending our meetings. If you want to get involved in the community, attending the meetings is the best way to start!

2Serve on a Committee!

Committees work throughout the year to plan events and community service projects. Serving on a committee is a great way to build leadership skills, make friends, and get involved!

3Attend Events!

Awards Night, Volunteer Appreciation Luncheon, Community service events, all of these are hosted the 4-H County Council and they’re all tons of fun! You can see more of the events we run on our events page!

4Suggest Your Ideas!

If you or people in your club have an idea that you want to talk about at the Council Meetings, we have a survey where you can present ideas for the nearest meeting. Your ideas can be submitted through our Google form below!
