Following La Trobe and Monash universities respectively, the School of Mathematics and Statistics at the University of Melbourne will host the third annual Victorian Research Students' meeting in Probability and Statistics.

The event is funded by the Australian Research Council Centre of Excellence for Mathematical and Statistical Frontiers (ACEMS). It provides doctoral and master by research students from Victorian universities with an opportunity to present their research to their peers as well as hearing from other students in an environment which facilitates collaboration.
