Weapons

War was an enormous part of daily life in Mesopotamia. Much of the artifacts left behind from this time are war related, much of what was found helps us get an idea for what life was like back in the time of mesopotamia.  In the Royal Tombs of UR many archaeologists including: a giant gold dagger, multiple copper daggers, spike-like javelins, broad-headed spears, and socketed ax-heads. Much of life in mesopotamia was made around war and preparing for war.

Life in Mesopotamia was surrounded by war and being on top you had to be prepared for war ever. ( CB )

Battle Strategies

The Mesopotamia military is famous for its inventions and warfare tactics. The ancient civilizations were at constant war with each other. The reason for this is probably the lack of education and tolerance. Assyria was one of the most successful military kingdoms. Assriya was the first to make iron weapons. tactics, contributed to the success of their campaigns in making Assyria arguably the best of ancient times.They developed a wide variety of weapons.an elaborate and systematic plan of action the branch of military science dealing with military command and the planning and conduct of a war.
