Hi there! I'm re-opening printing commissions. Please note the pricing updates due to material cost increases. I now also offer FDM printing!
Prototypes, display models, and parts that require high rigidity and fine details where flexibility is not a concern. I print most of my cosplay props in PLA.
Due to lower UV and heat resistance, it is not recommended for long-term outdoor prints.

Functional parts that need to withstand stress or impact, such as mechanical components, protective elements, or parts used in outdoor environments.
PETG is more UV and heat resistant than PLA, and is considered fairly waterproof.

FDM printers can print multiple parts at once on a build plate. Each build plate requires at least an hour of manual labour for:
setting up the print in the slicer software with custom supports
removing supports by hand / with power tools
I charge a base $10 plate fee to account for this manual labour.
I also charge a $1/hour printing fee, since client requirements such as surface quality, infill percentage/style and orientation requirements can significantly increase print times.
It's encouraged to print multiple prints at once to take advantage of a singular plate fee!
Customer Request: x1 Small Benchy Boat print
Filament: PETG
Roughly 12g of filament / benchy at 10-15% infill (slicer software is able to determine exact filament amounts)
Cost estimate:
$10 plate fee + (12g x $0.15/g filament cost) + ($1 x 1 total print hour) = $12.80 Total Cost
Customer Request: Virtuous Treaty Sword Prop (printed in pieces)
Resin: PLA
Total 300-400g of filament, different infill % for different pieces (slicer software is able to determine exact filament amounts)
Cost estimate:
$10 plate fee + (350g x $0.10/g filament cost) + ($1/hr x 60 total print hours) = $105 Total Cost
